A COSY COFFEE & ALEHOUSE BY THE SEA
Step aboard The Cosmic Sailor — a relaxed spot where craft beer and cask ale are served the proper way, straight from the stillage. You’ll find real cider, local wines, and a few stellar spirits behind the bar too.
Not drinking? No problem. We’re not your average micropub — there’s proper espresso, quality teas, and hot chocolate for when the weather calls for something comforting.
There’s always something playing quietly in the background, a shelf of games ready to be picked up, and a laid-back, familiar feel — whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth. Dogs are very welcome (we keep the water bowls full and the biscuits on standby).
Cast your eyes around and you’ll spot a mix of maritime knick-knacks — ship’s wheels, lanterns, a porthole mirror or two — and a wall of astrophotography taken by David, the landlord and lifelong stargazer.

There’s always something going on aboard The Cosmic Sailor — even if it’s just a fiercely competitive Scrabble match and a really good pint.
Rotating Stillage
Our stillage is always shifting, with new brews rolling in regularly. Expect a rotating line-up of cask ales, craft beers, and real ciders — all served straight from the source. Ask at the bar if anything unexpected has landed.
Cosmic Happenings
We like to keep things simple, but every now and then we’ll host something a little different. Out-of-this-world quizzes, Bring Your Thing nights (think show-and-tell for grown-ups), maybe a dark beer evening or a quiet gallery night if the mood’s right. Nothing too polished — just a reason to gather, share a few stories, or try something new.

Join us (soon!) for relaxed game night evenings. A few games on the tables and a bit of friendly back-and-forth — nothing too serious. Bring your own if you’ve got a favourite, or grab one off the shelf. Rules optional. Laughs guaranteed.
